CARE FOR ORPHANS AND STREET CHILDREN FOUNDATION (COSCf/Non profit)
I. INTRODUCTION
The year 2009, the 16th day of February was established a non-profit association under Congolese law known as:
"Foundation for the Protection of Orphans and Vulnerable Children Care" (COSCf) acronym.
After being deeply affected by the horrible situation in eastern DRCongo; Rebellion's wars, ethnic conflicts, HIV / AIDS, which have left a multitude of helpless orphans, children in the streets with various traumas and persecutions that threaten and undermine their psychologies, moral security, physical and intellectual .
Recognizing neglect and degradation of children's rights in the region and neighboring countries and considering their role in improving the world present and future.
Recalling Article 14 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and the special right of the child engaged in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (1948) under Article 25 (2) "The Motherhood and childhood are entitled to special assistance ".
Article 46 of Law No. 09/001 of 10 January 2009 on child protection provides: "The child is domiciled with his fathers and mothers in the person exercising parental authority over him. "
The statement by the United Nations Human Rights Commission and adopted by the UN General Assembly 20 November 1959 under Article 8, 9,10 and revised September 26, 2006 and Article 2 the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child adopted by the General Assembly in 1989 "All children are entitled to their rights without discrimination."
