OUR GLOBAL OBJECTIVES
The COSCf takes care Vulnerable children and allows them to find good life after training, education and entrepreneurship or self-care into adulthood. Contribute to the improvement of the life of the churl community while fighting against poverty in Africa in general and in the province of North Kivu in particular.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
- Develop hope, love and skills of the marginalized children, which will lead them to find social harmony and peaceful co-existing in the community;
- Give young people a chance to discover and develop their skills and build confidence in them;
- To instil in young people a need for social harmony and peaceful coexistence;
- Promoting education and training handicrafts
- To reduce and eventually stop drug abuse among youth;
- Promoting leadership among women, gender issues and human rights.
- To fight against all forms of rape and sexual violence
- Educate, inform and assist child victims and people with HIV / AIDS.
MISSION
The Care for orphans and street Children foundation's mission is to shelter orphans and other vulnerable children and promote their skills.
VISION
The COSCf provide a better future for underprivileged and marginalized children.
JUSTIFICATION
Most of children who are victims of war and HIV / AIDS depend on begging, prostitution, steal and have engaged in mining work for survival. This exposes them to threats such as malnutrition, imprisonment and worse the risk of being affected by HIV / AIDS, or premature death.
TARGET
COSCf: is responsible for the protection of war orphans, victims of HIV / AIDS, the disabled and other vulnerable children such as street children.
STRATEGIES
• Create schools and training centers, language, computers, health, and literacy.
• Cultivate fields and practice farming for the profit of orphans and vulnerable children.
• Provide temporary housing (orphanage) for these children before their reintegration into society.
• Liaise with other local organizations, international agencies and ministries.
• Solicit financial, technical and material with potential donors and supporters.
